The Al Ain team delegation arrived to the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in the evening, coming from Al Ain on a private plane. Upon their arrival at Tashkent International Airport, the delegation were received by Awad Mohammed Subaih Alkaabi, a member of the management committee of Al Ain FC, and Mohammed Nasib Aldhaheri, the acting chargé d’affaires at UAE Embassy in Uzbekistan, along with several diplomats at the embassy, a delegation from the Uzbek club, Pakhtakor, further to Al Ain Club’s corporate communication team, which led he delegation in Tashkent.
Alkaabi congratulated everyone on the safe arrival of the team’s delegation to Tashkent, as he had traveled to Tashkent 48 hours before their arrival in Uzbekistan to ensure that the logistical arrangements had been made properly for receiving the Al Ain delegation in Tashkent.
In Uzbek media interviews, Alkaabi stated that Al Ain’s fans had started to arrive in Tashkent to support the team. Therefore, we made sure to coordinate with the logistics team in collaboration with the host club and the southern commissioner of the Asian Football Confederation to make the necessary preparations and provide the required security measures in the designated areas for Al Ain fans in Bunyodkor Stadium. This was done through direct coordination with the club’s corporate communication officer, Obaid Aldhaheri. Further, a direct contact number was assigned to communicate directly with Al Ain’s logistics team, which is 00998944832222.
Furthermore, we ensured to direct the corporate communication team, which preceded the delegation, to start working on estimating the number of Al Ain fans and considering the possibility of communicating with them through the UAE Embassy in Uzbekistan to ensure their smooth entry into the Stadium without any troubles.
Alkaabi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the UAE Embassy in Uzbekistan for their professional work, excellent coordination, and their commitment to providing the necessary support to Al Ain delegation before arriving to Tashkent. This greatly contributed to overcoming any potential challenges.
