Onboarding a private plane on a 3-hour trip and through Al Ain International Airport, “Al-Zaeem” mission headed to the Uzbek capital Tashkent, chaired by Mohammed Obaid Hammad, member of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management and the Supervisor of Al Ain First Team and the Reserve Team, to initiate the team’s Asian mission.

Al Ain will initiate its mission in the AFC Champions League against the Uzbek Pakhtakor next Tuesday evening, 19th of September, in the first round of the group stage. In addition to Al Ain and Pakhtakor, the first group includes Al-Fayha (KSA) and Ahal FC (TKM).

In press statements via Al Ain official account, Mohammed Obaid Hammad said that all of Al Ain players feel a sense of responsibility for an honorable appearance representing the UAE and defending Al Ain badge in the strongest Asian championships and that everyone is well aware of their requirements in this important competition, which has a special impression on Ainawi fans.

“There is no doubt that Al Ain has its unique brand and reputation among the Asian clubs, but our policy and strategic plans require every team member to respect ambitions of competitors and everyone realizes that successes in football can only be achieved through giving, doubling efforts, and demonstrating a strong desire to win”, he replied to a question about Al Ain Asian experience compared to the clubs of the first group.

“Al Ain’s return to the AFC Champions League represents an important motivation for all the team players in order to translate the unlimited sponsorship and support of the club’s chairman to the team, achieve their personal ambitions and make the loyal Ainawi fans happy in the strongest AFC championship”, he continued.
