Al Ain Club player Mohammed Ahmed expressed his deep pride, thanks, gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hazaa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, First Vice President of the Club and Honorary Council of Al Ainawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, for his high patronage and the generous support he has been giving to this great club, and His Highness’s precious confidence in all the elements of the team, which is a matter of pride and appreciation for every member of this lofty club.
The player also expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Affairs of Al Ain Football Club Company, for the great interest and continuous support he gave to the club and all the team players in order to achieve the desired goals.
Mohamed Ahmed announced, in statements to the club’s official website, that he would not continue with the first football team at Al Ain Club, emphasizing that: “My relationship with Al Ain cannot end at all, despite that I am leaving the first team, I will stay considering it as an eternal relation and I will remain loyal to this entity where I passed the most beautiful moments of my football life. I spent more than ten years with the club at which I contributed with my colleagues to win more than ten championships.”
And he added: I will not miss to thank the members of the Steering Committee of Al Ain Football Club Affairs Management, and Mohammed Obaid Hammad, the distinguished administrator and the big brother of all the players, for his advanced dealings, interest and follow-up on the affairs of the team and his keenness to prepare the reasons for all members of the team in order to achieve the goals of our great club. I thank my brothers in the administrative apparatus, my fellow players, employees and all club employees.
And he continued: It is not easy to bid farewell to the Al Ain fans, who will remain the most prominent strength of the team.

Biography
Mohamed Ahmed joined Al Ain Club team in 2012/ 2013 season, coming from Al Shabab Club “before being merged with Shabab Al-Ahly Dubai Club. The player proved to be the beating heart of the team. About seven coaches agreed on his high potential. Mahdi Ali, the former coach of our national team, believe as well. He met all expectations during the difficult matches of Al Ain in the league, and appeared with excellent defensive and offensive performance that contributed with the Boss in achieving great results.
Mohammad scored his first international goal while playing against Venezuela in the quarter-finals of the World Youth Cup Egypt 2009.
