Bandar Al Ahbabi: So Determined to Win Al Wahda and Clinching the Three Points
Al Ain FC player Bandar Al Ahbabi said: “The derby matches are always featured by being strong, competitive and challenging, but all what we are focusing on is to snatch the three points because the team who is competing to win the title of the League is required to gain the three points on the expense of the closest competitors.”
“Football does not recognize the language of calculations and statistics and the history of confrontations between the two teams compared to the fact that the team who is better and willing to exert more efforts on the pitch will be rewarded. These statistics are now part of the past and the two teams will play a different game and a new challenge,” said he in response to a comment that Al Ain has not won any match when hosted by Al Wahda since 2008.
He added: “We are required to win Al Wahda to stay away from the nearest competitors and the team with high concentration will definitely get the three points.”
