BERG: “MAN OF THE MATCH” IS BEST PRIZE FOR TEAMWORK
Al Ain international striker Markus Berg emphasized that his team had played a very strong confrontation in the last round of the AFC Champions League in the Groups Stage. He stated: “I had an excellent opportunity to score against the opposing team at the beginning of the match, but I did not succeed to translate the efforts of my colleagues in the right manner. However, I received great support from my colleagues and the coach and was able to contribute to the victory of my team.”
He added: “Al Ain exhibited a stunning performance and deservedly won the match and be eligible to qualify to the last 16-teams round.
