AL AIN PLAYERS DESERVE TO HOLD THE GOLD

“When a football team plays a deceive match with two chances to qualify to a very important stage in such a continental competition through a tie-up or winning, then the home team will have the biggest chance to win because they are going to fight on ground the whole 90 minutes,” said Al Ain’s player Bandar Al Ahbabi. He added: “We vowed to play this match with the aim only to win the opponent whatever it takes and thanks Allah for succeeding in realizing our goal on ground.”

Commenting on a question about the presence of more than seven players from Al Ain Club as candidates for the awards of the Professional League Committee, he stated: “It is because Al Ain has more than ten international players in its lines, in addition to Berg, Hussain El Shahat and sometimes Shiotani. I have no doubt that Al Ain’s players have the right to win the PLC Awards compared to their outstanding level of performance they have been exhibiting.”

As for Al Nasr confrontation, he underlined: “Our goal is to win our next game against Al Nasr with all due respect for our rivals’ aspirations and hopefully we will be able to win the league title this coming Saturday so that we can concentrate on the President’s Cup and the AFC Champions League.”
