Bunyodkor Head Coach Sergey Lushan said that the game against Al Ain is very challenging for his young team. “We will not play the game to win only, but to play great match in the name of the Uzbekistani football,” Lushan said, stressing that the game will significantly contribute to promote the players experience in the Asian tournament, especially that the opponent team is currently one of the strongest clubs in Asia.
Commenting on the young ages of his players, Lushan said “Personally, I don’t feel it’s a problematic thing. The team was formed three years ago from the available elements and we work together to build up our power.”
The Uzbekistani Coach revealed that Bunyodkor club does not want to pay a lot of money to contract with top players, stressing that the club management is totally convinced with the players’ capabilities.
Asked about whether he will use an offensive style of play in the game against the UAE club, Lushan said, “We are well aware of the opponent’s offensive capabilities, so we will try to have the desired balance that enables us to achieve a positive result.”
He refused to do a man-to-man marking of the top playmaker of Al Ain Amoory. “I am not ready to play the game with only ten players to do a man-to-man marking of the Asia’s Superstar. Instead, we will make our plan balanced as I previously said”.
The former defender Lushan rejected to uncover the number of matches he analysed for Al Ain. “Certainly, I will not tell the number of games, but I analysed a number of games and we are well aware that we are facing one of the continent’s best teams that gathers a host of superstars who are led by Omar Abdulrahman,”  Lushan said.
The presence of Amoory in the field makes great difference in the performance of Al Ain,” he concluded.
