Khamdamov Says Teams “Strongly Desirous” to Win Over AFC Champions Runners-Up
Bunyodkor Midfielder Dostonbek Khamdamov stressed the Uzbekistani team’s strong desire to win over Al Ain, the runners-up of AFC Champions League last year.
“We will do our best to make benefit of playing home among our fans to increase our chances in qualifying after losing the first round game against the Saudi Al Ahli,” Khamdamov said.
Commenting on the fans keenness on attending the game against Al Ain to enjoy the performance of Khamdamov and Shomurodov, the players of the Uzbekistani national team, Khamdamov said, “I called on the fans to support all the team. I would love to express deep appreciation for the fan. However, I would confirm that all my team mates deserve support, not only the international players,” he said.
“In the name of all players, I promise you of showing the fighting spirit against Al Ain to achieve a positive result in the Asian game,” the Uzbekistani player added.
