Al Ain new Brazilian player, Caio Canedo, expressed his deep pleasure by the beautiful surprise that his teammates had prepared for him showing the one and explicit family spirit. He stressed: “I did receive massive and extraordinary support in and out the pitch and never felt that I am new here. I feel that I am at home.”

He added: “I spent five years in the country with my former team, Al Wasl and played with and against a large number of foreigners. I am a sociable person and like to have new friends, particularly football players. I have no language barriers as I speak English, and this helps the foreign player to communicate with others. Indeed, I began to learn about the style of each player and the way he played.”

In response to a question on his opinion in Al Ain away preseason camp, he said: “I believe that the away camp is excellent by all standards. It is an important period to further enhance the brotherly bonds among the team’s members and to train hard to boost the players’ performance and skills. As you know the weather conditions in UAE at this time, do not help players to conduct two training sessions per day for the high temperature and humidity, unlike the weather in Europe.”

“It is not an exaggeration if I tell you that I am impressed with his way of thinking, style of training, and the way he deals with everyone. His manners and professionalism motivate us to implement his plans precisely,” Caio hailed the Croatian head coach Ivan Leko.

He went on to say: “The performance of the team should not be taken as a standard as it progresses as the time passes. I could assure you that we achieved the desired gains of concluding such a great camp. However, we are required to do more and redouble our efforts, given that we set our sights high.”

“I joined Al Ain team because it is a big team and personally very proud to be part of this lofty club. I will spare no efforts to achieve the team’s desired goals and will fight together to win titles.”

Caio also hailed the fans of Al Ain by stating that they are initiative and enjoy an ideal culture of cheering up their team, and this is why you could consider them the striking force of the team.

He signed off: “I wish to see our loyal fans behind the team in all matches as of the kickoff of the new season until the last match of the league.”
