We still have great chances for the League and our goals in the current season are clear

So happy with my presence in the UAE and the confidence of Al Ain Club management

At the beginning of his statement at the introductory press conference for his team’s match against Al Sharjah, scheduled for the day after tomorrow, Saturday, at HBZS in the 17th round of the ADNOC Pro League, Al Ain Argentine coach, Hernan Crespo, congratulated our national team for its official qualification for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup finals and the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, emphasizing that: “The international players will join today’s trainings and we’re well aware that it is not easy for them to engage in training sessionsdirectly, but we had a proper period to prepare for Al Sharjah match during the break, and we’re well aware that our task will not be easy in the next round”.

Commenting on a question about his technical view of the opponent’s situation, he said: “As I previously mentioned, the task will not be easy against a good team that includes distinguished players, but we also have distinguished players, and we are ready for that match to enhance our score of points because we still believe in our chances in the League. Therefore, winning Saturday’s match will be very important for us”.

Replying to a question about renewing his contract with Al Ain, he said: “Actually I’m very happy to be here in the UAE, specifically with Al Ain Club. What is more important to me is the management’s confidence in the team and the technical staff. I also hope that everyone here is happy, whether players or fans. But on the personal level, I do not prefer to talk about renewing the contract because I’m focused on redoubling our efforts to follow up on positive results to emphasize our right to continue with the team”.

He concluded his statement saying: “We need Al Ain fans because they are an additional player that promotes the team on the field. They also realize the importance of the next two months of the season and the next stage will not be easy, so we’re in a bad need of their presence because we will achieve all our goals together”.
