Zoran Mamic stressed in the pre-match press conference dedicated for his team final match against Al Wasl in the President’s Cup that winning the match tomorrow is so important with all due respect to the opponent’s aspirations. He stated: “Tomorrow we will have an important challenge against a strong team and I expect crowds will attend to support the team and motivate the players to push themselves to the limit and be able to purse their sunning levels of performance and achieve the greatest positive results.” He added: “We do understand that it is a must to have full concentration tomorrow and deal smartly with the tiny details of the match in order to realize our ambitions.”

Commenting on the impact of Ainawi fan’s feelings of overconfidence on the morals of the team, he said: “I am so proud of our loyal fans and so pleased by my stars’ performance. Certainly, our match against Al Wasl will not be hassle free, given that the opponent is a good team and has skillful and quality players.” He emphasized: “On the other hand, the “Boss” is experiencing currently positive atmosphere and unquestionably has the high-quality players who could make the difference. Indeed, we do respect Al Wasl’s aspirations but we are so determined to achieve the positive result and make our loyal fans happy.”

When asked if he expects that Al Wasl will play openly in tomorrow’s confrontation, he replied: “It is logical to talk about my team conditions because Al Wasl’s Head Coach is the only one entitled to talk about his team.” He went on to say: “As for me, we will play in our own well-known style and we are not playing alone in the pitch. However, we will spare no effort to realize our desired aspirations and the already set goals.”

“I always psych my team up for all the matches since the kickoff of the season to play each match as a final one. In our last match against Al Dhafra in the coronation night we were so keen to prepare the team for the final match in the season in the right manner. Of course, all of these issues are theoretical and the final word in the world of football will be on the pitch,” said he in response to a question on his own preparations for the clash final match.

He added: “I always look forward to seeing massive numbers of fans in standings to support the team in all challenges of the season. I think the stunning performance of the team deserves to have all the loyal fans behind the team in one of the most important matches of the team.”

On the number of titles of the President’s Cups he won in Europe, he stated: “It is not important how many titles I did win! Although I am the top coach in winning titles in Croatia, I am so eager to clinch more titles with the “Boss” and hope to snatch the title of President’s Cup tomorrow.”
