Douglas: We’ll clinch the qualification for the final
Al Ain’s Brazilian striker, Douglas Dyanfres, said that they had to play a must-win game versus Qatar’s El Jaish in order not to waste their history of achievements that brought them just a few steps from the final game.
“We anticipate a fierce and powerful encounter by our rivals to keep their hopes of qualification for the final alive, but this will incentivize us to unleash our strengths in order to notch up the qualification pass,” he said.
Asked if Al Ain will adopt the defensive style to maintain a 2-goal lead, Douglas replied: “I think that offense is the best style in modern football; personally, I’m looking forward to scoring tonight.”
At the end, he confirmed that the team was prepared well especially after the ‘international’ players had joined in and the players were given the necessary instructions by the coach during the training sessions.
