Down by One-Man.. Al Ain U-21 Team Loses for the Third Time in A Row

Al Ain U-21 Team lost to Al Wahda Team by 4-1 by the end of matchweek 6 of the U-21 League. The match was held at Al Nahyan Stadium on Sunday, 16th October 2022.

Al Ain’s defender, Galeukia Santini, was sent off the pitch with a red card in his pocket at “60” just two minutes after playing as a substitute.

The home team took the lead over Al Ain Team in the first half by 2-1. The only goal of the Al Ain Team was scored by Mohammad Awadallah (25). In contrast, the quartet of Al Wahda was scored by Mubarak Salem (19), Salem Al Somali (40), Ismail Al Zaabi (76), and Abdullah Ahmad (82).

By this result, Al Ain’s balance freezes at the seventh point and remains in eighth place “temporarily”, while Al Wahda raises its score to thirteen points and placed second “temporarily”.
