Ahmed Al-Shamsi: “Al Zaaeem” participates in any championship to win, not just for honorable participation

The AFC Champions League draw held moments ago at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, resulted in strong confrontations for “Al Zaaeem” in their preferred championship as Al-Ain was placed in Group “A” along with Pakhtakor (UZB), Al-Fayha (KSA) and Ahal FC (TKM).

The Draw ceremony was attended by Ahmed Al-Shamsi, team manager, who expressed, in press statements to Arab and Asian media after announcing the draw directly, his satisfaction with the AFC Champions League draw, emphasizing at the same time that: “I’m happy to see “Al Zaaeem” again in its preferred AFC Champions League and for his fans after a 2-year absence which is unusual for Al-Ain players, technical staff, administrative staff, and fans”.

“Al-Ain Club adopts a well-defined strategy in participating in all championships and no doubt that the team go through all challenges for competition, not only honorable participation by virtue of Almighty Allah and the high patronage by the Club Presidency, players’ passion and the huge support provided by Al-Ain fans throughout their extensive football history, but our mainly focus is always on each match individually. Tomorrow we will play an important match against Hatta in the League and we think deeply in that challenge and beg Allah to reward the whole team success and good luck”, he continued.
