Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat stressed the importance of winning the next match against Al Dhafra stressing that: “We are well aware of the importance of the competition as the dearest tournament as it bears the name of H.H. The Head of the State, May Allah protect him. Therefore, we are required to do our best and be highly focused and equipped with high desire to achieve our goals, i.e. to keep on ahead with the victories track and qualify for the quarter final match.”

On his swift adaptation with his teammates, he stated: “I have already mentioned that Al Ain is a big club and I was watching the team matches in recent period.” He added: “When I joined the team, I was significantly welcomed by all my teammates and I do really enjoy the family spirit at the club, especially as the “Boss” squad has highly skilled and professional players, besides a great head coach. I thank Allah for helping me in the first match I played bearing the logo of AL Ain and above all scoring my first personal goal.”

As for Al Dhafra team, he said: “Indeed, the head coach explained to us all the technical issues of the opposing team and regardless of his position in the standing table, we all fully aware of the fact that cups competitions are always different as the team doing well on the pitch is the one closest to qualify.” He signed off: “We will do our best and show great respect for the opponent’s ambitions. Finally, we hope that we will qualify and continue in achieving the great results.”
