Croatia’s media showed quite remarkable interest in preparations of the first football team of Al Ain Club. “Zoran is seeking to restore the fondest memories of “Maksimir” playing against ES Sétif,” stated the headline of the daily sports newspaper, Sportske Novosti.
As part of its coverage of the first leg match of Al Ain against ES Sétif, the Nujimit Newspaper specialized in sports affairs, commented on Al Ain losing to Sétif “Unfortunate Start for Zoran’s Boys at Dinamo Zagreb’s Stadium.”
