Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Derei, Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company, hailed the continuous support of the leadership of the Al Ain Club for the UAE Football Ambassador that helped the team to be at the top spot of West Asia teams following achieving its 45th win in the new edition of the AFC Champions League since 2003 and surpassing many West Asian clubs, capitalizing on the support and care that made the club the third Asian club in winning their opponents. Al Derei confirmed that the “Boss’” victory achieved at the end of the Group Stage of the AFC Champions League 2018 was expected and made its mission easier to qualify to the last 16-teams round of the league by their deserved and great victory over Al Rayyan in their away match.
The Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company congratulated the Chairman and Board Members of Al Ain Club Football Company, the team’s players, Croatian Coach Zoran, technical and administrative staffs and the fans of Al Ain in every place inside and outside UAE on the occasion of qualifying to the next stage of the league. he stressed: “The “Boss” of all Gulf clubs deserved to win the match and it is an honor for the UAE football specially it is the championship the club like most since they won its first title. Despite the fatigue and exhaustion the team experienced since the beginning of the current season and glowing here and there with confidence that made everyone applauds for the brilliant stars as a result of imposing their control over the pitch and attracting the attention of all TV channels and social media in the Asian Continent that praised the Ainawi stars with no exception for scattering football with fun, creativity and responsibility.
Mohammed Bin Thaloub Al Derei concluded by praising the team’s manly performance, fighting spirit and strong personality which led the team to achieve a great victory. He underlined: “All the players were up to the challenge and were accountable to defend the UAE football logo. The team has been able to achieve a great and worthy victory over the opponent in its journey in the Asian championship, and so they still have the most important coming stage to defend the UAE football. Indeed, it is the team’s significant title in their exceptional participation in the AFC Champions League.”
