Hankofen-Hailing Official Website: Looking Forward to Achieving Mega Technical Gains When Playing Against Al Ain Team with a Squad Full of International Players

The Boss Wears the “Purple” Kit and the German Team in “Red”

On Monday 26 July at 08:30 p.m. (Abu Dhabi Local Time) (06:30 Munich Local Time), the Boss squad kicks off the first friendly match of the away summer training camp playing against Hankofen-Hailing FC of the Germany 4th Division.

Noteworthy, the Boss squad is holding their first phase of the preseason training camp at Bad Goegging City during 19 – 31 July 2022. The Team’s schedule includes playing two friendly matches against Hankofen-Hailing FC and Greuther Fürth FC. The Team will then fly to Austria’s Genberg City, where the second phase will commence, scheduled to be held from 31 July until 20 August 2022, where the squad will play 6 friendly matches, including Kuwait FC and KSA Faiha FC.

Amid close follow-up from the head of the Al Ain mission, Salem Al Junaibi, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, the players perform their training in high spirits, focus, commitment, and seriousness. Such genuine feelings stem from the sense of responsibility of belonging to the “Boss” squad, the champion of double trophies in the last season, at this critical stage of preparation for the new season.

It is also scheduled that the Team’s lineup will be completed tomorrow morning, with the “internationals” joining the Germany summer camp. The head coach had recently granted them during the first week of the first stage. The players are Khaled Eisa, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Ahmad Barman, Yahiya Nader, Caio Canedo, and Laba Kodjo.

The Ukrainian head coach split up the players into four groups, and they joined two training sessions. The first one was in the morning, and it was limited to conducting physical fitness exercises and running around the forest surrounding the camp.

The first group consisted of goalkeepers who were satisfied with their regular training. At the same time, he engaged the remaining players in a program of strengthening and testing their physical fitness in the forest. Later, the players joined recovery programs to release fatigue in the pool and jacuzzi.

As for the evening training session, the coach dedicated it exclusively to the final arrangements to be adopted in the coming friendly confrontation.

Hankofen Extends Appreciation to Al Ain Club

In the same context, the official account of the German’s Hankofen published a statement in which the Club’s management expressed their thanks to the Al Ain Club’s administration for understanding their request to assign a new date for the match held on Tuesday 26 July 2022. But unfortunately, the German Club was forced to cancel their league’s official game against Rhein Amlach Club scheduled for next week. The match was canceled as certain Amlach players suffered a tragic accident that resulted in the death of two players and others sustained injuries of varying severity.

The official website of Hankofen FC stated: “We are honored to play against Al Ain Club, the biggest Emirati club, that won 14 league titles, in addition to being the only Emirati club to win the AFC Champions League title, before facing Real Madrid in the Club World Cup final.”

The official website quoted a statement from Germany’s team manager, Richard Mayer Hofer, who in turn stressed the importance of the friendly experience in front of Al Ain. He stated that the Boss squad is full of distinguished “international” players and called on his Club’s fans to attend the robust and friendly confrontation. He ended his statement by expressing his sincerest hopes that his Team would come out with significant technical gains.

Qualifying Meeting

On the other hand, the directors of the Al Ain and Hankovin teams held the pre-qualifying technical online meeting in the presence of the organizing company of the camp.

During the online meeting, all the details related to the match were clarified, and the names of the referees were confirmed. It was also decided that Al Ain players would wear the complete “purple” kit while the “Boss” goalkeepers would wear the green gear. Therefore, Hankofen Team will play the coming match wearing the complete red kit, while the goalkeepers will wear the blue kit.
