Abdullah Ali, Supervisor of the Al Ain First Football Team, confirmed that the “Boss” will conclude their friendly matches scheduled during the current period against Egypt’s Pyramids Team, on Saturday 11th December 2021. This match is the third friendly match the team will play as part of the home training camp.

In response to a question on the possibility of missing the team’s international players against Al Wasl in the first leg of the Pro League Cup if their teams qualify to the final matches of the FIFA Arab Cup, he said: “First of all, we wish all the players’ national teams the best of success. We follow-up closely the worthy participation of our players in the FIFA Arab Cup 2021″

He added: “The technical staff is keen during the preparations in the last period to prepare the appropriate substitutes due to the participation of our “international” players in the Arab Cup 2021. The coaching teams are preparing the team for all challenges, and there is a state of complete satisfaction with the honorable appearance of the “international” players of Al Ain. We wish them all the best and to continue performing honorably.”

Regarding Al Ain’s intention to enter the winter transfer market window, he said: “First of all, I would like to thank the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club, chaired by Dr. Matar Al Darmaki, for their continuous support and follow-up to furnish all grounds of success for the team and achieve its desired goals. It is a fact that all big football clubs plan properly to sustain all their teams’ lines and work hard to fulfill the requirements of their teams based on the technical reports submitted by the head coaches.”

He went on to say: “Al Ain Club’s Pro Committee would submit its recommendations to the Board of Directors of the Al Ain Club Football Company. Meanwhile, it premature to talk about the winter transfer dossier right now.”

Commenting on a question about the Yassine Meriah’s injury, Sultan Al Shamesi said: “The medical reports confirmed that the player suffered a moderate bruise, and he is scheduled to rejoin the team’s training sessions alongside his fellows within two to three weeks. This depends on his response to the medical treatment programs. We all wish him a strong return and we admit that he performed well and honorably with the Boss squad during the last period.”
