In the post-match press conference held by the end of the matchweek 11 between Al Ain and Dibba, Zoran Mamic described his team’s mission against Dibba as an easy match. “Bravo for my team players for a job well done. They were up to the expectations and showed their aggressivity to win the match and the three points. We were able to score four goals and maintain our net clean and we had great chances to score more but unexpected things happened during the course of the match, specifically when Rayan was injured forcing me to replace him by the end of the first half.”

Zoran added: “We are required to redouble our efforts during the coming challenges starting with Al Wasl match scheduled to be held at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai on Monday 4th December and then to play against them again in the President’s Cup on Friday 8th December 2018, and then playing our first match in the FIFA Club World Cup- UAE 2018.”
Commenting on a question on the reason for describing the match against Dibba was easy, he said: “Since the kick off whistle, Al Ain players were successful to have open space through deft short passes and collective style of playing. Indeed, this enabled them to reach the opponent’s areas easily and to score four goals, given that we missed many chances to score. We deserve to celebrate the victory tonight and as of tomorrow we have to start our preparations for the coming challenges.”

On Rayan’s injury, he said: “No doubt that Rayan is a smart player and tries to do his best in the training sessions to fulfill his tasks in the right manner. He also enjoys the quality potentials and the immense desire to give more for the team and to defend the logo of the team. However, he is suffering from a minor injury in the back muscle and a toothache, but surely he will be back so soon.”
