We Will Not Be Misled by Al Wasl’s Recent Results.. Mohammed Ahmad: Ainawi Fans Are Player No.1 in the Boss Starting VI
Al Ain’s international defender Mohammed Ahmad stated that Al Wasl’s results this season will not mislead us as everybody knows that Al Wasl is a good team and has quality players despite their poor results in the league competition.
“The team succeeded to present themselves as a strong competitor in Zayed Champion Clubs Cup and was not an easy opponent in the few recent matches of the league.”
He added: “However, we will be cautious and play with high concentration in the coming match and hope we will be lucky enough to snatch the match’s three points with all due and high respect to Al Wasl’s aspirations.”
Commenting on a question on the fans’ reactions of both teams, given the fact that both of them has the largest grassroots compared to other local clubs, he said: “It is indeed a fact no one could deny, but the Ainawi Nation’s presence in the standings to support the Boss has been always the motive for the players to do their best and achieve record results. The Boss’ fans are the player No. 1 in our starting lineup.”
He concluded: “It is not the name of any player or a star of the Boss that affect the team’s performance compared the massive presence of Ainawis in the standings who always make the difference. I am looking forward to seeing all fans behind us in Za’beel Stadium on Monday.”
