“The coming match against the home team, Al Wasl, will not be an easy mission for my team,” Zoran Mamic, Al Ain FC Head Coach, stated in the pre-match press conference dedicated for the matchweek 12 of the Arabian Gulf League scheduled to be held on Monday 3rd December 2018 at Za’beel Stadium.

“We will have a new challenge against Al Wasl on their turf and among their fans. Indeed, we are required to add more points to our balance and we have to remember that Al Wasl is a good and quality team despite their results this current season. Al Wasl’s front line has great and skillful players and in their last match against Al Sharjah they did well.”

He added: “Player are required to push themselves to the limit, show the team’s genuine fighting spirit, be highly focused and deal with the tiny details of the match cautiously since the kickoff whistle until the last minute of the match to be able to back to our fort with three hands in hands,” Zoran said.

Responding to a comment on his opinion that Al Ain plays against Al Wasl in two different competitions in only four days, he said: “Personally, I do not see it a problem, specially it is the luck draw that determines who will play against in our journey to win the title. At any rate, I will prepare the team as are used to doing each match this season and there are no secrets among the teams competing in local competitions.”

On the likely absent players when playing against Al Wasl, he said: “The Boss will miss Rayan Yaslam and Amer Abdul Rahman this coming confrontation. All the Boss’ squad are fully ready to and up to the challenge.”
