Following the official announcement of the winners of the UAE Pro League Awards during the ceremony held in the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, Matar Ghumran Al Dhahiri, member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Club and Chairman of Pro Committee, congratulated the Boss stars winners of the majority of the PLC awards.

He also extended his sincerest congratulations to his brothers members of the board of directors of Al Ain Football Club Company for fulfilling the desired goals of last season. All achieved by Allah’s favor and thanks should go also for the dedicated efforts and generous support of the Club’s leadership. He also hailed the efforts exerted by the team’s players and all members of the Club and above all the fervent support of the Ainawi Nation.

The Chairman of the Al Ain Club Pro Committee hailed the significant organization of the PLC Pro League Awards Ceremony. He praised the keen efforts exerted by the PLC to promote the professional concepts ad developing the local competitions through working so closely with the member clubs. He wished everyone all the best of luck.

In a press statement on the sidelines of the awards ceremony, Ghumran stated: “Crowning the Boss with two trophies of ADNOC Pro League and PLC Pro Cup is the natural result of the working in the spirit of one team consisting of the Club’s management, coaching team, players, loyal fans and all members of this lofty Club. Indeed, this embodies the concept of Ainawi family. Then, it is normal to see the majority of the team’s players on the coronation stage winning the top awards. It all started with the head coach Sergiy Rebrov, the front line represented by Laba Kodjo and Soufiane Rahimi, midfield and defense lines Mohammed Abbas, Bandar Al Ahbabi and Erik Jorgensen and finally the goalkeeper Khalid Eisa. This is an evidence of the dedicated efforts exerted by everyone in the team.”

He added: “Absolutely, the personal awards are great incentives for the team in general and players in particular in preparation for the new season.”
