Mr. Hasan Hassan, Secretary General of Bahrain’s Malkiya FC, expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to Al Ain Club Management for their welcoming reception and hospitality during hosting Malkiya team scheduled to play against Al Ain FC in the qualifying stage of the AFC Champions League.

Hassan congratulated Al Ain FC for qualifying for the Group Stage of ACL2018, stressing that “We all winners! Gains of this match were far beyond expectations as they granted us feelings of pride, honor and satisfaction. We all do wish our brothers in Al Ain FC to reach far leading positions in ALC 2018 and snatch the continental title, as well as to achieve more internal development and progress.”

“Being in the brotherly hospitable UAE and hosted by Al Ain Club turn this visit to a rich experience,” said he. He pointed out: “Our brief tour was not limited to hold sports meeting, but extended to include bilateral scientific meetings over the four days covering the two objectives of the visit, i.e. technical and administrative sport aspects. The visit program also included touring the sport sector of Al Ain Club escorted by Sultan Rashid, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company, and Ali Khamis. We also attended U-15 match between Al Ain and the Emirates Club, in addition to a field visit to attend the training session of junior teams in Al Ain Academy and its administrative offices, besides meeting its technical directors and facilities.”

He added: “The meeting at Al Ain Academy was a field meeting and included a delivering a detailed introduction of the Academy’s work mechanism, programs and categories. Additionally, we had meetings with the Academy’s administrative supervisors and technical managers.” Hasan stated also, “we toured the Academy facilities and got introduced to the Academy’s work structure, experiments and initiatives along with a detailed explanation of the system of Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed International Tournament.” He expressed his admiration of the Academy’s achievements by saying: “We have seen a tremendous organization of the huge volume of work, the spirit of the one team and undoubtedly the direct supervision of our brother Sultan Rashid gives another technical perspective of these great achievements for the rich biography he enjoys during his stunning professional career.” He hailed Sultan Rashed efforts stating that “I could recognize the distinctive love that this man carries for his work and for his technical and administrative staff.”

On his visit to Al Ain Football School, he said: “In the football school, I also was received by Mr. Ali Masarri, Member of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club Company and General Supervisor of the Football School Sector. The meeting included delivering a presentation on the school’s work system, its technical and administrative staff, its organizational structure and introducing the branches systems, initiatives, screening and exploration system and technical work. The visit program also included a field visit to the school football fields, teams’ training sessions and the School’s facilities.”

“The existence of such a school at Al Ain Club operating in such an organized manner according to a clear-cut vision along with strategic milestones confirm the superiority of the administrative way of thinking of Al Ain Club and the great ambitions held by the officials. Absolutely, having my brother Ali Masarri onboard is a great advantage for Al Ain Club and Al Ain Football School as he used to be an international player working with an open mentality to create change and development.” He went on to say: “Add to that, he has a dedicated team who are so keen to achieve success in all mini details of their work under the command of my brother Khalfan Al Shamesi who is indeed of a great added value to team for the stunning managerial competencies he enjoys and being familiar with the work system and working closely with all team members.” He indicated: “in the morning of the match day, we visited the offices complex of Al Ain Club at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. We had a meeting with our sister, Badriyya Al Alawi, Head of Human Resources Department, and Rashid Abdullah, Director of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.” He expressed his pleasure by the meetings by saying: “The meetings were fruitful at the administrative level where I got introduced to the mechanism of the administrative system and departments that run Al Ain’s Club three companies. Also, we held bilateral meetings at each department.” On his impressions of the visit, he said: “I have never seen anything alike in whole my practical experience in other clubs. Al Ain is rich in specialized administrative and highly qualified competencies. It is an administrative model by itself that all Gulf citizens should be proud of. We all should learn from Al Ain Club how to invest in the administrative human capital.” Commending the Head of Human Resources Department efforts, he said: “Our sister Badriyya is actively supervising the work of the administrative sections. Absolutely, her unlimited success in the field of sports administration as an Emirati female is an added credit to Al Ain Club and looked at as another significant achievement.”

Praising his fruitful meeting with Rashed Abdullah as another bright side of the professional work of Al Ain Club, Hasan stated: “Rashid Abdullah, the distinguished Emirati young man, is an ideal model that the whole Gulf region should be proud of. His operational management of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium that won 2014 Best World Stadium Award, managing its events and running its commercial and investment activities in accordance with modern scientific and commercial approach is not less than the quality and the type of advanced European clubs.”
