“Despite feeling disappointed following the final match of the President’s Cup, considering that I missed scoring the last penalty kick, I received many support and motivational messages from the Ainawi Nation, the Club’s Management, teammates, and the head coach. That relieved me a lot and helped me to come back with high morale,” Al Ain midfielder Argentine’s Matías Palacios stated in the pre-match press conference of matchweek 25 of ADNOC Pro League against Al Wasl held this evening.
He added: “I must thank everyone for their support and being next to me in such a hard time. However, I am returning to training sessions with high morale in preparation for the upcoming challenges in both the league and ADIB Cup.”
He commented on the team’s preparations for the match against Al Wasl: “We must win the home team with all due respect to their aspirations, given we still have good chances based on figures. Therefore, all our upcoming matches are decisive and critical. Indeed, our preparations are as planned and on the right track to achieve our objectives.”
