Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee held its third meeting in 2024, headed by Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, vice president of Al-Ain Cultural and Sports Club’s board of directors, chairman of the executive committee, and chairman of talents patronage committee. The president of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee saluted the members on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi, 1st deputy to the club’s chairman, 1st deputy to the president of Ainawi honorary council, and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Ain Sports and Cultural Club. At the same time, he appreciated the supreme patronage and great care of His Highness to the club at various sectors.

Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan adopted a decision to extend the contract of the Argentine manager, Hernán Crespo, the manager of football’s first team. This decision is based on the special reports related to  analytical operations, to bolster the team’s positive spirit, and to cement the principle of stability in the team’s ecosystem.

The chairman of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee directed to bolster electronic and field surveillance operations in order to offer the best services to Ainawi fans and supporters of UAE football at all events. He also directed to bolster the club’s participation at all social events in order to support the society.  

The meeting discussed the requirements of the next stage, especially Asia tournament and the local competition. The chairman of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee also directed to offer all the required support for the team to be able to achieve the goals set before the start of the current season, which are to compete at all tournaments, in line with the club’s vision and to please Ainawi nation.

The chairman of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee reviewed work mechanism related to football’s academy and school facilities’ development projects, that are going on in line with the club’s goals and strategic plans. He also reviewed the technical and physical reports for the academy’s players, appreciating at the same time the advanced technical programs and their positive outcomes on the teams’ players in terms of age categories, which have practically contributed to capabilities’ development of cubs, juniors and youth as needed.

Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan praised local media’s role, from TV shows to agencies and sports papers to social media accounts, in supporting the team during the continental tournament out of patriotic sentiment to support the nation’s sole representative at the strongest clubs tournament in Asia.

The meeting was attended by the members of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee, Dr. Matar Rashid Al-Darmaki, Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud, Awad Mohammad Sobaih Al-Kaabi, and Mohammad Obeid Hamad Al-Zaheri, in addition to the CEO of Al-Ain Football Company Affairs’ Committee , Khalfan Al-Shamsi.
