“The match against Khorfakkan was difficult and held in difficult circumstances. However, the most important thing is the three points we earned tonight. Winning first match is important to boost the players’ self-confidence and motivate them to go on and win coming matches,” Serhiy Rebrov stated in the post-match press conference.
The head coach of Al Ain decided to grant the title “Man of the Match” to whole squad. He stated that the team players did well despite the high levels of humidity.
“They all did their best! I believe they all deserve to be granted this title and hope all fans agree with me,” he said.
