Sergiy Rebrov from the Stands Al Ain- U21 Team Cruise to 5-0 Win Over Khorfakkan
In the first round of the Reserved League, Al Ain U-21 thrashed Khorfakkan by 5-0. The match was held at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium on 22 August 2021.
Al Ain squad took the lead in the first half by 2-0. Al Ain scored by Mohammed Awadallah “25, 75”, Eisa Khalfan “13”, Ali Al Blooshi “60” and Juntas De Santos “88”.
By this result, the Boss tops the standing table by goals difference compared to teams won their matches in the first round.
Noteworthy, Head Coach of Al Ain Football First Team, Serhiy Rebrov, was keen to watched the match from the stands of the stadium as of the kickoff whistle till the end of the match. He attended the match to assess the performance of certain key players. He was accompanied by Abdullah Ali, Supervisor of Al Ain First Football Team, along with Abdullah Al Shamesi, Manager of the team.

Al Ain coach made five substitutions, including: Manea Al Shamesi, Jonatas de Santos, Nasser Al Shakily, Khaled Saleh and Hamid Al Blooshi. They replaced Andrea Radovanovic, Ahmed Al Qutaish, Eisa Khalfan, Mohammed Awadallah and Hamad Al Hassani respectively.
