IBRAHIM DIAKY … THE “BOSS’S” PERSONALITY
Al Ain player, Ibrahim Diaky, described Al Ain’s victory over Iranian Zob Ahan as an important one. He stated, “The fighting spirit, the strong personality and the high concentration were the most important weapons that put the team at the top of the group before the result of the match between Bunyodkor and Al Ahli served the interest of the team enabling them to officially qualify to the 16th Round of the AFC Champions League.”
He added, “In our confrontation against Iranian Zob Ahan, Al Ain team was able to restore their features they missed due to certain factors that reflected negatively on their results in local matches and led to loosing important points in the Asian Championship. Al Ain was able to demonstrate their real personality. I have to say Omar Abdul Rahman is an exceptional team captain and all players showed great performance and the result was evident, i.e. we reaped the three points.”
