Laba, Bandar and Caio Join Individual Training Session with A View to Kick off Their Collective Training

In a sensational one-family atmosphere, the Boss stars celebrated presenting the Best Player of Round 10 to their teammate Togo’s Laba Kodjo. The celebration was attended by the coaching teams and administrative staff.

Noteworthy, Laba received the highest points in “Fantasi” game supervised by Pro League Committee (PLC) following he scored hat trick in the team’s match against Al Jazira. Laba won 16 points.

Ahmed Al Shamesi, Manager of Al Ain First Football Team, stated: “The spirit of one family is the main principle dominating the team atmosphere. Indeed, honoring Laba comes as part of the training session today, as he did not play the team’s confrontation yesterday against Al Nasr. It was planned to present him the award along with the coach and his teammates, Khaled Eisa, who won the award for best goalkeeper, and Soufiane Rahimi, who was awarded the best player award in November.

On the team’s preparations for matchweek 12 against Ajman, he said: “The coach gave Al Ain players a short break yesterday evening, and today they have kicked off their preparations for the last match of 2021 at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, playing against Ajman Team. The good news that certain injured players joined the training sessions and we did miss them in our match against Al Nasr. They joined individual training programs, as part of their rehabilitation stage, in preparation to join the collective training sessions. These players are Lab Kodjo, Bandar Al Ahbabi and Caio Canedo.”

In response to a question about the title of the Winter Round, considering the runner-up team lost their match yesterday evening, he said: “The winter title is not a “championship”, and in Al Ain Club we respect all competitors, but we do not think about the results of others as much as we focus on our situation. The Club’s strategy is clear, that is we deal with each match separately. As for our match against Ajman, it will not be easy mission. However, we trust the whole system consisting of players, coach and fans, in light of the unlimited support and remarkable interest from the football company’s Board of Directors. We all wish the team all the best of luck.”
