Khalid Abdurrahman expresses ‘intense desire’ to carry on victories
Khalid Abdurrahman, Al Ain defender, underlined the importance of knocking off Kalba on its own ground, in order to boost the Club’s position on the leaderboard, wishing good luck for his teammates in gaining the full three points.
”first of all, I wish Mohamed Faye and Saeed Al Menhali a quick recovery, especially as they have recently done a great job with the team. However, football is a team game whereby the coach needs to have all basic and substitute players completely ready in order to address all possibilities. I am very grateful to be on the lineup again, and would like to thank Coach Zlatko for his trust, as well as the loyal fans for their ongoing support under all conditions”, he explained.
Khalid stressed that it is a true loss to have both Ismail Ahmed and Mohannad Al Enezi missed in the next match. “We need to find the best solutions. During the last match against Sharjah, Coach Zlatko’s chose to replace Ismail Ahmed with Lee Myung-Joo and set the suitable plan. We did manage to win with a clean sheet. I hope we will carry on such performance to achieve the desired objectives’, he concluded.
