Al-Ain Fans are The Most Important Player in The Team’s Ecosystem

I Felt Exhausted After Our Match vs Sharjah, But I am Ready Take On Our Match vs Al-Nasr

The international Togolese player, Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, Al-Ain FC forward player, said that his team is working steadily on their preparations for their match vs Al-Nasr, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, the day after tomorrow, amidst the 18th round of ADNOC Pro League tournament at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium. Also, we are well aware of the importance of this match and we are required to show the spirit of triumph to be able to claim the match three points.”

Commenting on a question on whether he has reached the state of full readiness after returning from injury, he said: “As you all know, after being absent for more than a month, the player has to work gradually to be able to reach the state of full readiness, and after our match vs Sharjah I felt exhausted, so I talked to our team coach and our team’s medical staff over this situation to be able to return step by step, but now, I feel much better and will work with my teammates to reach our team’s goals because we are, as one, capable of reaching our goals.”

On the  reason behind the decline of the team’s performance during the last two matches, he said: “I think that, during the last two matches, we did not show up on the needed level, but the state of decline is something expected for any football team, especially after the stoppage period, for it is something difficult to return, but we are, starting from our match vs Al-Nasr, required to concentrate to be able to return to the path of victories, for our defeat vs Kalba was harsh, because after that match we were knocked out of the most precious of all tournaments, and that tournament was important for us and we have to learn from our mistakes and work to improve our performance to be able to claim victory in our next match.”

Commenting on a question on facing his former coach Alfred Schreuder, he said: “It is something for sure that we will deal with this match as any other regular match in the competition race, for we will show seriousness, concentration, and desire to claim victory, I also wish God help us to be able to satisfy our fans with the final whistle as the match ends.”

On the state of dissatisfaction among the team’s fans as a repercussion of the team’s output, he said: “It is something for sure that we, as players, are not happy with the results we have recently achieved, but as I have already mentioned to you, we will work to correct our mistakes and show the spirit of triumph to be able to satisfy Al-Ain fans, and we are required to be on a state of full alert and concentration along the match duration, and at the same time we need everyone to stand on our side, while the most important player in the team’s ecosystem is Al-Ain fans, and this is the fact that everyone knows.”
