LEE MYUNG … THE BEST GIFT EVER
Following their victory over Iranian Zob Ahan Isfahan, Al Ain players were so keen to congratulate their South Korean teammate, Lee Myung-joo, on his birthday and made a cake before they chanted the traditional melody on the occasion in a terrific scene where the Myung expressed his sincerest regards and deep appreciation for them.
He said, “I am very happy that my team has qualified for the 16th Round of the AFC Championships League which we did reach the final match of its previous version and deserved to win the title. He added, “I hope we will succeed in winning the continental title in the current edition.”
As for the celebration held by his teammates in the changing room following the end of the match on the occasion of his birthday, he stated, “The best gift I got on my birthday was beating Zob Ahan and to qualify for the 16th Round of AFC Champions League.”
