Al Ain defender Mohammed Fayez stated that his team had done well in their first friendly match against Slovenia’s Celje FC. “It was a great match, and we all did well with the participation of the new players like Brazil’s Caio Canedo, Mohammed Shaker, and Mohammed Hilal. Also, it was a good opportunity to have more young players on board. They are the future of our big club very soon,” he stated.
Fayez added: “I was so happy with the young players’ performance. I expect they will do well in the coming season as they proved they would be an added value to the team. I wish them all the best in their career.”
“All of us here work hard as we know well the importance of all the efforts we exert in such a critical stage. Each year we look to have a happy ending of each season, and this is why we are training hard to be fully ready to achieve our goals,” he commented on a question on his opinion on the preseason training camp.
Fayez hailed the professionalism of the team’s new head coach by stating that the head coach fully understands what the team is required to do and achieve out of the training camp. “He had set up the team’s program to boost further the strength of the Al Ain team to be able to clinch more titles. He enjoys great charisma and deals well with all players. You can tell that he has a clear imprint in enhancing the players’ potentials, and this is what we realize since day one. I can assure you that he is a valuable asset to the team, and I do not doubt that with him, we will be able to achieve the desired goals.”
