Croatian Zoran Mamić, Al Ain FC Head Coach, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of Ain players in the Hatta game in the Arabian Gulf cup.
Mamic made the remarks in his speech to reporters during the pre-match press conference ended with two goals in each net.
He said that, “The confrontation might be full of fun for the fans because of the four goals scored, in addition to the opportunities that was not scored but it seems different for me as a coach.”
“We were very nervous at the begging of the game, mainly the back line and Hatta team managed to exploit our gaps in scoring two goals and had several chances to increase the number of goals,” Mamic said.
“The matter changed after the first half hour of the match, as we improved our performance and managed to control the game,” the coach added He also pointed out that defenders corrected their mistakes and the team scored two goals.
“Also, more goals could have been added comfortably, but in the end the match ended in draw,” Mamic noted.
“I think that the players of the second team have performed very well against Hatta but it is not easy to face a complete team while your team misses 12 players,” said he.
“Today’s game was a good opportunity for the players to show their best. Such players are always part of the team during the training sessions and the official and friendly matches,” Zoran added.
“Participation of the players in all activities of the team will contribute to improving their performance, the Croatian said, stressing that those players will join the line-up once they are needed,” Zoran concluded.

Hatta Head Coach Concerned over Fernando Gabriel and Samuel Rosa Injury
Macedonian Head Coach of Hatta Gjoko Hadžievski confirmed that his team sought to show their best in the game against Al-Ain, giving a good impression of the team at the start of the new football season.
“Things went well from the start, but after 20 minutes, striker Samuel Rosa was injured, causing us problems on the ground and the player bore the pain and continued playing for other 25 minutes, so I was keen on substituting him between the two halves of the game,” Gjoko said.
“We tried to maintain our good start and finish the match in the same way we did in the beginning, but the team suffered more with the injury of striker Gabriel,” he added.
The coach stressed that he is very concerned over the injury of Gabriel that my keep him away of the field for a long time.
“I know very well that we are facing Al-Ain team, which lacks the efforts of eight players,” he added, stressing that the Garden City Club has good potentials and a lot of options.
“Today, I do not want to talk about refereeing, especially at the start of the season. I assure you that the result is not my priority after the end of the game. Although the confrontation is official and the result is very important, I am very concerned about the injuries suffered by my team players,” he concluded.
