The Croatian head coach of Al Ain FC said that Al Ain holds the slogan of winning all their matches and challenges while stressing “This is what my squad would exhibit on the pitch with all due respect to the ambitions of Al Ain’s competitors in various championships.” He stated: “We are looking forward to the coming clash match against a big team, determined to show the genuine quality of the Boss and to pursue achieving our great positive results.”

In the pre-match press conference of matchweek 4 of AGL between Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai, Zoran Mamic underlined that the match would not be easy. “The players are aware of what they are meant to do in the match. They know that they have a big challenge and I am sure they will do their best in the right way to snatch the three points.”

Commenting on a question on whether the three points he might win against teams competing to win the title will make the Boss closer to the title, or the other way around when the Boss plays against non-competing teams, he said: “Our strategy is crystal clear! We deal with all our matches as big ones and we do not deal with other teams as per the classification of strong or weak teams as it is the same by the end of the day, i.e. we will win three points. However, winning critical challenges at home and among our fans gives us the motivation to keep going and to achieve our goals.”

On whether the relative current moderate weather conditions and playing the match at night time will have a positive impact on players’ performance, he said: “Of course, it is good to play our fourth match here in the gardens city where the temperature degrees are relatively low and on top there is no humidity.” He emphasized “Actually, no excuses for anybody as the atmosphere of the coming match is motivating for both players and fans to attend the match and stand behind their team to achieve their desired aspirations.”

Responding to a question if he is looking forward to win Shabab Al Ahli Dubai again by six goals, he said: “We always show respect to our opponents. Indeed, our Friday’s match is completely different from the last season match. We will always do our best and focus on each match separately.” He signed off: “As I stated earlier, Al Ain plays all their challenges keeping in mind to win them.”
