Mohammed bin Thaloub Checking in on Amoory’s Injury

H.E. Mohammed bin Thaloub Al Derie, Chairman of Al Ain Club Investment Company, checked in on the severity of the injury of the Al Hilal midfielder and the national team’s prize asset, Omar Abdul Rahman (Amoory), who was carried off during Saturday’s clash against Al Shabab Riyadh of matchweek 6 of the Prince Mohammed Cup after an injury in his right knee.

At the time of the phone call, the Emirati star was subject to initial medical checkups. The results of tests showed that he has an injury in his right knee and he was attended to one of the top hospitals in Saudi Arabia for further assessment of the injury and the required period and place of treatment.

Bin Thaloub expressed to Amoory his sincerest wishes of speedy recovery and to return to pitch soon. Amoory in return thanked his “Godfather” while expressing his wishes that the injury will be minor and that he could join the “Whites” in the Asian Cup- UAE 2019.
Amoory suffered a severe injury after jarring his right leg when reaching for a pass in the fifth minute of his team against Al Shabab Riyadh leaving the pitch in agonizing pain.
Amoory received hundreds of phone calls from UAE and bouquets of roses from the fans of Al Hilal.
