“We owe the loyal Ainawis an apology for the poor results of the team this current period,” Mohammed Khalfan stated in the pre-match press conference of matchweek 24 of the Arabian Gulf League against Dibba Al Fujairah FC scheduled to be held this coming Saturday 11th May 2019 at Al Fujairah Stadium.

Khalfan emphasized that the name of the Al Ain Club is always associated with the honorable performance and great results that enable the team to clinch titles every season. “The current conditions that the team is experiencing are not satisfactory and we are held accountable to fix them. I do hope that we will overcome them soon and be able to boost our performance to the limit to be back to the victories track again with the aim to improve our position in the standing table.”

Commenting on a question on his assessment of the coming match against Dibba, he said: “I say again that we owe the loyal fans a better apology and we will prove that in the pitch and through the great results we will achieve. Of course, we must ignore the opponent’s spot in the standing table and show respect for their aspirations.”
He signed off by saying “There is no easy math in the world of football. We have to be ready in the right manner and boost our efforts to the limit to win the home team and snatch the three points of the math.”
