Mohannad Al Enezi: We Must Carry On Scoring Victories in AGL
In the pre-match press conference dedicated for the confrontation between Al Ain and Emirates clubs, Mohannad Salem Al Enezi, Al Ain First Team and UAE National Team Defender, stated: “Undoubtedly, Saturday’s match against Emirates Team is as important as any other match in the Arabian Gulf League and we have to present an honorable performance that triggers off the “Boss” to achieve the best result.”
“In the match against Ajman Team held in the previous round, we were not in our best condition despite winning our competitor. However, we must carry on scoring victories in the current stage, ” added he. He also stated: “We have to take advantage of the lessons learned from our match against Ajman and work hard and do our best in our coming matches against all competitors regardless of their rank in the standing table.”
In response to a question that Al Ain always suffers when playing against non-rival teams, he said: “There are certain gains we achieved following the end of the match against Ajman team. The key lesson was it is essential to show aggressivity, be focused and serious as of the kickoff whistle until the end of the match. During the meeting held by the Head Coach, he highlighted the mistakes we committed and how to avoid them.” He concluded: “We are determined to play a real football that will enable the “Boss” to return back home with the match’s three points.”
