As part of the inspection tour programs scheduled by the Football Company Board of Directors to follow up on progress achieved, Khaled Abdullah Hamar Ain Al Dhaheri, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Ain Football Club, was keen this morning to visit the headquarters of the “Boss” mission in Austrian Geinberg. He also attended the morning training session.

Salem Al Junaibi, Board Member of Al Ain Football Club Company, Head of the “Boss” mission in the two phases of away pre-season camp, Germany and Austria, during 19 July- 20 August 2022, confirmed that the Vice Chairman’s visit expresses the keenness and interest to follow-up the Chairman and members of the board of directors of the football company all the details related to this critical stage of pre-season preparations.

Al Junaibi stated: “Khaled Hamar Ain’s inspection tour of the camp comes as part of the pre-set schedule approved by the board of directors to check up on the performance indicators of the team’s work during the away training camp of the winner of double trophies of last season. These performance indicators are compared to the administrative, technical and medical reports submitted by competent admin teams during the first and second phases of the camp in Germany and Austria, respectively.”

In this regard, Al Junaibi hailed the dedicated efforts exerted by all members of the mission, including players, coaching teams, administrative staff, medical staff, and logistical support teams, stressing: “Everyone pushed himself to the limit to achieve the desired gains out of this important stage in preparation for the new football season.”

“The players’ commitment and keenness to boost their efforts stem from their sense of responsibility in defending the Al Ain badge after the team folded the “dual trophies” dossier. We closed that chapter, and we focus on the most important challenge for the team in the new season and work hard to achieve the desired goals in the new season,” he said.

In response to a question on the success rate of the Al Ain away camp, he said: “The success rate of summer camps cannot be judged at the end of the pre-season preparation stage. However, it is a fact that the indicators of the camps’ success are always measured by the end of the season compared to the results achieved.”

He signed off, saying: “Work in Al Ain camp was in line with the pre-set program and approved plans and programs. We wish the Boss squad all the best of luck.”
