Nasser Al Shamrani… the Ainawi new player
Al Ain’s new recruit, Nasser Al Shamrani, is regarded one of the best strikers in the history of the Saudi Premier League ‘SPL’ thanks to his high capabilities, goal-scoring talent, unstoppable bullets and skills to approach high balls and crosses; no wonder he is nicknamed the ‘Earthquake’.
Moreover, Nasser is one of the best scorers in SPL with 5 Top Goal Scorer titles in his record; 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2014.
Before joining Al Ain, Nasser was signed by 3 clubs beginning with Al Wahda, then Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia between 2007 and 2013, after that he received an attractive offer from Al Hilal of Saudi Arabian.
During his first season with the Saudi ‘Boss’, Nasser won 3 Top Goal Scorer titles of SPL, the Saudi Champions Cup and AFC Champions League. He reached with his team the AFC Champions League finals and the runner-up of both SPL and Saudi Crown Prince Cup. In 2014, he was awarded the Asian Footballer of the Year title.
