The Dutch coach, Alfred Schroeder, Al Ain coach, stressed the necessity of winning against Al Bataehwhich is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, in the first leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup, explaining:

“Our preparations are proceeding as usual, and it is certain that winning the first leg is crucial for us. We’re well aware that we’re facing a strong opponent and we continuously work to enhance our performance from one match to another.”

Two-legged games mean each leg is vital. We’re aiming for a strong appearance, reinforcing our unique playing style as a distinguished team. Our goal is clear in every match — to win, while maintaining respect for our opponent’s aspirations,” Schreuder continued.

Regarding potential absences for the match against Al Baatah, he said, “As of now, we have no absences in the team roster. All players are in excellent condition, having undergone recovery processes. We will assess everyone’s readiness during the final training session. The team has achieved a great level of fitness post-recovery, and they will definitely be included in the starting lineup.”

Concluding the pre-match press conference, Coach Schreuder added, “I ensured that our friendly matches during the preparation period were open to the public, believing that we play for the fans too. The crowd turnout has been tremendous, and I was elated by the fantastic fan presence in the match against Hatta. I hope for reasonable fan attendance in the match the day after tomorrow; their presence will undoubtedly be our strength.
