Al-Khaldiya’s experience is exceptional, we are eager for honorable representation of Bahrain at continental level

Nawaf Mohammed Al-Jaber, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Al-Khaldiya Club, voiced his deep thanks and appreciation to the management of Al Ain FV for the warm reception and providing all reasons for success for the Bahraini league champion’s pre-season camp in Al Ain.

Al-Jaber said, “Sure there is a close relationship between the two clubs, which, as evident to all, was practically translated into the decentreception, starting at the airport. Choice Al Ain City, which is represented by one of the elite clubs in the Asian continent, reinforced the desire of the coaching staff for a strong friendly experience, and I believe that the two teams came out of yesterday’s game with the desired gains.

“Al Ain fans received us the moment the plane landed at Al Ain International Airport and before even arriving at our residence in Dar Al-Zain, and on social media websites, which was remarkable and distinctive. The magnificent organization of the game and the tremendous number of fans at Hazaa bin Zayed Stadium during the friendly game is only seen in an official game,” he added.

Commenting on the exceptional experience of Al-Khaldiya Club, Al-Jaber said,The great successthat accompanied Al-Khaldiya, the rising star ofthe second division, to be crowned with the title of the Bahraini league championship, is credited first to Allah Almighty and then the high patronage of the supporters of this great club and the sincere efforts of the Board’s members and the entire work system, including the coaching staff, players, fans and everyone belonging to Al-Khaldiya.

“Reality confirms that the club’s real start was three seasons ago when we could qualify in the first season for the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League. In season two, we bagged the cup, last season we held the league championship title and earlier, we were crowned with the Super Cup. The achievement we made last season was the biggest motivation for the club to go on with achievingthe best, especially since we have a continental participation in the new season represented in the AFC Cup,” he added.

On Al-Khaldiya’s ambitions, Al-Jaber said, “We are eager to keep going in our competitive position for titles, in addition to the new challenge in the continental arena, where Al-Khaldiya faces the Omani club Al-Nahda in the AFC Cup qualifiers. We also focus on representing Bahrain at the continental level, and we ask AllahAlmighty to grant us success”.

Al-Jaber wrapped up his speech by saying, “We would like to assure the fans of Al-Khaldiya that work continues so as to realize the aspirations of our club and make them happy. I would also like to express my sincere wishes for success for Al Ain FC both locally and continentally.
