Organizing Committee of Hazza bin Zayed Tournament Holds First Meeting
The Organizing Committee of Hazza Bin Zayed International Football Tournament 2018 commenced the initial preparations for the 10th edition of the tournament scheduled to be held during 10-16 April at Tahnoon bin Mohammed Stadium in Qattarra.
The Organizing Committee held its first meeting yesterday at the meeting hall at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain Club and was chaired on behalf of Sultan Rashid, Board Member of Al Ain Football Club Company, the Sports Director of Al Ain Club Company Mr. Abdullah Ali, Tournament Manager and attended by Ali Khamis, Chairman of the Technical Committee, Obeid Al Daheri, Chairman of Public Relations and Protocol Committee, Abdullah Khoury, Chairman of Marketing Committee, Ahmed Al Shamesi, Chairman of Referees Committee, Dr. Tawfiq Suleiman, Chairman of Medical Committee, Ahmad Al Ka’abi, Chairman of Fans Committee, Adel Taha, Chairman of Fields Committee, Khaled Mustafa, Chairman of Media Committee, Mohammed Amir, Chairman of Security Committee and Mohamed Zaher, Chairman of Secretariat and General Coordination Committee.
During the meeting, the attendees tackled all arrangements to be carried out by the organizing committees where Abdullah Ali stressed that “The name of the tournament represents the biggest challenge for the organizing committee. Therefore, we find ourselves every year forced to redouble our efforts and compete with ourselves and do our best in the manner that is consistent with the name and reputation of the “international” tournament which has become one of the most important “international” competitions of junior teams globally.”
