The “Boss’” Stars Continue to Win Awards.. Berg Wins the Award of Best Striker in Greece
The Swedish international striker, Marcus Berg, striker of the Al Ain FC has recently awarded the Panhellenic Professional Football Players Award as Greece’s best foreign player for 2016-2017 season.
Al Ain FC has already received an official invitation letter addressed to H.E. Ghanem Mubarak Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Al Ain Football Club Company and Marcus Berg to attend the coronation ceremony scheduled to be held on 29th January 2017 in Athens.
Marcus Berg snatched the title of Top Scorer in Greece League with his former team, Panathinaikos, in the 2016-2017 season with 23 goals before moving to Al Ain this early season.
Noteworthy, Omar Abdul Rahman, Al Ain Team Captain, has been crowned the winner of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Creative Sports Award. Additionally, Al Ain’s goalkeeper has been recently awarded Best Goalkeeper Award in Arabian Gulf Cup 23 held in Kuwait.
