I hope for a massive attendance of fans at Al Ain’s AFCmatch

Al Ain Dutch coach, Alfred Schreuder, described his team’s match against Al Sharjah as crazy, stating: “Actually, the challenge was exciting for the fans of both clubs. It started well, and after the red card, the situation became difficult for us and we had to adapt to the situation, and during thehalftime, we adjusted our tactics properly to continue the match. After the second goal, we changed our plan to 5-3-2 and managed to dominate the game and Soufiane Rahimideserved a definitive penalty”.

“I’d like to commend the team that confronted significant pressures after losing three finals last season, particularly as we played approximately 60 minutes with ten players. I also want to salute the fans who demonstrated the familyspirit which makes everyone proud to be associated with Al Ain. I hope to see a massive attendance next Tuesday in the AFC match. I also want to extend my greetings to Al Sharjah team and their coach Cosmin Olăroiu”, He continued.

Commenting on the question about whether the purpose of substituting Laba was to maintain the two-goal draw, he said: “Of course not, the substitution was intended to reinforce the offensive strength, especially since I gaveLaba a two-day rest with the team and entered Jonatas who can create chances in the forward line”.
