Pedro: We Work Hard and Will Play Al Wasl’s Match as It Is a Final Match.. We Did Not Play with the Same First Eleven Except Three Match
“It has been so important to focus on our work this week. It is a fact that we are experiencing hard times these days. We lost our recent match against Al Dhafra in a painful way,” Pedro Emmanuel opened the pre-match press conference of matchweek 19 scheduled against Al Wasl this Saturday.
He pointed out that the team started working hard at the beginning of the week to change things. He also said: “It is all about us to improve our performance. Therefore we have to focus on our work only.”
Pedro highlighted that Al Wasl is a good team with quality players in the middle and front lines, such as Fabio Lima.
He stated: “We are playing at home and have a firm well to win the guests. The way to do this is to play each match as it is a final one and snatch its three points to increase our balance. This should be our current objective.”
The head coach of Al Ain said that there are always absent players, and it was a difficult season as we have bad news every week on missing one of our players. “If you want to know how difficult this season was, we never played our 21 official matches with the same first eleven except in three matches.”
However, Pedro said that things are on the right track and players are determined to change the team’s image and compensate for the last negative result, given that the team is playing at home and that “we all determined to present the three points to the loyal fans and regain the trust.”
