Such performance enabled the team to worthily and deservedly win the match. This resulted in taking a big step forward in the competition and to win one of the two cards of the most powerful group in the current stage of the Asian championship. This is an important win, particularly after the team lost two points in the first round at a home match after the draw result agianst Zob Ahan Esfahan of Iran.
Hammad said, “The stars of the “Boss” proven a fighting spirit, strong sense of responsibility and a robust desire to beat the host team in front of its fans. Everyone deserves thanks for his dedicated efforts, commitment and discipline in implementation of their respective field duties on the ground as optimally as required.”
Hammad praised the willingness of the players who bravely endured the injury and not being fully fit such as Ismael Ahmed, who sustained an injury in the past game, as well as Mohammed Abdulrahman, who was suffering pains in the eye, and, nevertheless, he gave an honorable and strong performance. It shows that all Al Ain players are ready for the challenge and will act responsibly.
He added, ” Al Ain players had made an undertaking, following the first round of the current stage of the Champions League, to make up the result. Actually, they were up to the challenge and responsibility of the honorable representation of UAE football in the strongest Championship in the Asian Continent. Indeed, we are expecting a new challenge in the Championship League before our match with Al Ahli Saudi FC the “Group Leader” and we have to prepare ourselves well for the next challenge.”
“In the light of the major challenges currently faced by the team at the local and Asian levels, there is good news related to the return of some injured members to the team list,” He added. “We saw the Colombian, Danilo Asebrela had initiated his return by participating in the second half of our match with Bunyodkor. We hope that he will be at the highest degree of readiness for the next stages. The right wing of the team, Mohammed Ahmed, is also expected to return gradually to the team over the next three weeks, and I hope that his return will be a strong asset to the team.”
