Presented Roberto Carlos Al Ain’s Jersey.. Caio: So Proud to Meet “The Legend” in Abu Dhabi and the Boss’ Ambitions Will Never Soar Below the Sky This Season
On the margin of his visit to Abu Dhabi this weekend, Brazil’s Legend, Roberto Carlos, hosted his countryman and Al Ain Team winger, Caio Lucas, in his residence at Yas Hotel. Both players exchanged the jerseys of Al Ain and Real Madrid prior taking photos with the official “Mascot” of the FIFA Club World Cup- Abu Dhabi 2018.
Caio Lucas expressed his deep pleasure to meet the “legend” Roberto Carlos. He commended at the same time the sincere efforts that Abu Dubai Sports Council and the Organizing Committee of the FIFA Club World Cup- Abu Dhabi 2018 have been exerting during the promotional campaign and all preparations and measures taken to host this significant international event.
Commenting on a question regarding the Boss’ aspirations and the team’s desires to achieve, he stated: “It is the fate of the big clubs to have limitless ambitions. Al Ain has a sound target to realize, i.e. to win all the challenges whatsoever. We all understand the challenge we will face when we play against the champs of the world continents. We do know that our mission will not be a piece of cake and I wish my team all the best and be able to win all our challenges as a sign of appreciation to our big club and loyal fans.”
He added: “Al Ain’s strategy is clear cut when it comes to the preparations of the team for any championships. We are only two months away from this international championship. However, we have numerous challenges at the local level prior the kickoff of FIFA Clubs World Cup and this entails we have to be fully ready for them and focus on each one of them separately.”
Regarding Roberto’s statement where he showed his plain bias to Al Ain and Real Madrid, Caio said: “Actually, I am so proud to have the privilege to meet one of the great legends of football worldwide. Definitely, his personal support to my big team means a lot to me and gives me the motive to work uninterruptedly along with my great teammates to realize the Boss’ desired goals.”
“I will always cherish the great moments I spent with Roberto Carlos. He enjoys a lovely personality and he is a great guy in all the sense of the word. I did gain advantage of his advice to me and so happy that he watches my team’s matches and follow up its news. His brotherly encouragement to me is one of the significant factors that will always enhance my morale,” Caio said.
Commenting on a question about his future with Al Ain, he underlined that he is so proud to wear Al Ain’s badge and that he is so happy with the team. “My contract with the team is still valid and I fully focused to achieve the Boss’ pre-set goals and priorities for this season. The great thing is that we are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the club and with no doubt it is one of our motives to realize the goals of this big club.”
He went on to say that the massive support of the loyal fans will always be one of the motives to make them happy and satisfied. “While in changing room, we always talk about the fans who are one of the key factors of the team’s success and how we could make them happy.” I wish they will continue in supporting the team and stand behind their big club not only in the FIFA Club World Cup- Abu Dhabi 2018, but also in all the critical confrontations we are facing this season. We will always think big and aim at clinching the titles to make the Ainawi Nation happy and contented.
