Creative Initiatives

He stated: “Al Ain Club’s Management consolidated the concepts of values and principles in support of excellence and keenness to furnish the grounds for further development to keep pace with the highest indicators of success. Today, Al Ain has become an ideal model whom the eminent sport institution in the Asian continent has been calling for all the sport clubs to simply follow in its footsteps.”

“Even the concepts of being loyal to Al Ain Club are “different” because they are interrelated with the mind and sincere feelings towards this entity featured by its leaders, values, principles, fans and all its members,” added he. He also emphasized: “Our wise leaders always inspire us to adopt the noble initiatives that prove the supremacy of Al Ain as a club that embodies the concept of the comprehensive sport club whose goodness is not just limited to sports aspects.”

H.E. Al Hajeri underlined the fact that: “The creative initiatives of Al Ain Club have always been receiving the utmost care and generous support from its leaders.” He added: “Today, we are so proud to open a new football field that will remain a prominent monument for the present generation as well as the future generations for it bears the name of one of Al Ain’s legends and a loyal member who is renowned as a quality player with high and stunning quality skills which magnetized the appreciation and admiration of those who witnessed the era of Al Rashedi, and above all he was famed by his super ethics, congeniality and loving good for others. Moreover, his contribution was one of the most important reasons for Al Ain to win the title of the league championship for the first time in its history in 1976-1977 season.”

“Al Ain Club has also another football field holding the name of Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz who passed away at an early age, besides another one holding the name of Saif Bin Mohammed,” said he. He pinpointed: “At that time, those players were not only footballers, but they were also part of the cultural components of the society. Some of them were officers and others were poor hard workers. However, their relationship with Al Ain Club was completely different from what we are seeing today. They were racing to the club as soon as they are done with their duties and tasks.”

Al Hajeri expressed his appreciation to all those who backed and contributed to the success of this initiative, by emphasizing that: “We are getting together today at the most important component of Al Ain Club, i.e. “Al Ain Football School. The reality confirms that Al Ain projects are successful in various areas and not just football.” He also stated: “The initial stages of the school were sound and great as there are certain specifications that the football player should enjoy at an earlier age. This is a responsibility that lie on your shoulders as a staff working at the Football School which we looked at as the most important stage of this big entity.”

Al Hajeri concluded by emphasizing his confidence in all the Football School members and wished them success in refining the talents of football juniors under the supervision of his brother Ali Masarri.
